REDUCE EXFOLIATION

Want to do amazing scrubs all over your body, go for it… Compound exfoliants such as glycolic or salicylic acids on your face, not so much. Because in the weeks ramping up to hitting the beach or headed out on vacation, reduce your dependency on these types of treatment as they usually amplify sensitivity to sunlight.

USE MORE VITAMIN-C

Your skin needs it just like the rest of your body… Because when the sun’s out with its full-effect, you will be subjected to a much greater danger of free-radical injury. Vitamin-C based concoctions work to slow the arrival of aging, so coat-up your skin daily.

REAPPLY SUNSCREEN CONSTANTLY

Our body’s produce a natural oil that tends to shed-off sunscreens more rapidly, meaning you’re less protected, so stay focused on the parts of your body that tend to become greasy, like your forehead, neck, nose and chin, remembering to reapply if ever you start to look “slick.”

TAKE COLD SHOWERS

A hot bath is usually the last thing on your mind after a long day in the hot sun, but avoiding hot showering because it also removes oil from your skin’s surface and works to dry you out even more. People should stick to a cool shower followed by moisturizing inside a couple minutes after toweling off.

MOISTURIZE OFTEN

Regardless of your outcome from the sun, keep in mind the most significant influence in healing wounds, including an accidental sunburn, is working to keep the area well-moisturized, even if you don’t want to rub lotion all over your tender skin, but keep in mind that doing so helps make the burn go away faster, but only use simple formulas that don't irritate the skin.
